MOTHERCARE . MIDWIFERY

‘Holding you through Matrescence’

Honouring a woman’s innate strength in birth, her body, her baby and her choices.

I believe that the sacred space of birth is not merely the creation of babies, but the profound transition into motherhood that is the miracle of childbirth. I provide antenatal, birth and postnatal care for both home and hospital birth.

I journey with you and your family through pregnancy and childbirth with a deep commitment to honour the power of physiological birth and to create a supportive space as a known carer for whatever unfolds.

“MotherCare is in the name. I love the birth of mamas, and believe that through good care you can affect someone’s mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health for the better during this pivotal rite of passage.”

My Philosophy

MotherCare is about mamas getting informed, being supported, and having epic care with a close, trusted connection.

I’m here to walk alongside you and support your growing knowledge as you and your family journey through pregnancy and childbirth.

My role is to model a deep commitment to honour the power of birth and to create a supportive space as a known carer, for whatever unfolds. I believe in midwifery skills and knowing when and how to support physiology to optimise outcomes.

My own pregnancy and experiences as a new mama helped me understand how important good care is.

This drives me to provide women with evidence-based information and personal, safe, nurturing, and respectful care while developing a mutually trusting relationship with the family I care for during their journey into their baby’s first year.

  • "Thank you so much for looking after me, post-caesar and for encouraging me to have faith in my body; we really appreciated your time and effort and feel more prepared being first-time parents. We wish there were more people in the world like you."

Lauren and Baby Allegra, First Time Mum

  • "Words can't thank you enough for your support through our pregnancy, birth and postpartum period. Birth is so raw, and you are so vulnerable, and you were always there with such love, kindness and support. "

Shane, Georgie and Poppy, First Time Mum

  • "Thank you is not enough to describe how grateful we were to have you on our side for the birth of our first child. Your big heart and soul, full of kindness, was one of the best supports, as much as your knowledge and passion for midwifery, and we had the birth of our dreams. For all of that, thank you. "

    Happy First Time Mum

  • "Your passion and love for what you do is inspiring, and we can not thank you enough for the wonderful support you provided for us to welcome our little Elijah."

Veronica, Jonathon, Helaina, Thomas, Samuel and Elijah.

  • "I would just like to thank you for your support. You have truly impacted me, and I spent the first half of my pregnancy terrified of birth! Thank you for making me feel so comfortable and listening to how I felt, and making me feel safe and understood."

    Tyla and Bay

  • "Where to begin. Thank you for holding my hand through my transition of leaving the hospital, from the tea, to walking us to the car - it will never be forgotten. Last but hardly least, thank you for looking after me , with such love, kindness, grace and humour. It was truly a blessing having you by my side."

    Danielle, Mark and Baby Noah.
